The Martha Portree Scholarship Foundation supports single women with dependants from batttered homes who are attempting to return to school and recieve a higher education. The recipients must be planning on utilizing their education in a way that gives back to the community. *Request images of awardees.
MARTHA PORTREE
Martha Jean Portree, 40, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007. Martha was a reference services librarian at the Northern Arizona University Cline Library. She cherished most playing with her daughter Samantha, assisting library patrons with challenging research questions, birding, hiking, biographies and her many friends.
